Monyo-Holzlampe-Workshop

In this workshop, we build a lamp with japanese traditional pattern.

The motif we worked with is Asanoha (麻の葉) and Kikkō (亀甲) patterns — both iconic in Japanese design.
Traditionally, these intricate works are created through Kumiko craft (組子) by skilled carpenters. The laser-cutted version of this art is to create a similar light effect as the traditional fixture.

Monkiri paper art and Onigiri lunch set (English/ German)

After the workshop, we will have a light brunch together - Onigiri and Miso soup. Let's share a sunday midday Japanese moment:) 🍙
